About Andre

My nutrition journey began with a deep interest in understanding how food influences health, metabolism, and overall well-being.

This curiosity led me to study Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Surrey, where I developed a strong scientific foundation in clinical nutrition. During my studies, I completed extensive clinical training across several NHS hospitals in the United Kingdom, gaining experience working with patients in a wide range of medical settings.

Through these placements, I worked across multiple specialties, including acute medicine, gastroenterology, pediatrics, surgery, respiratory care, oncology, care of the elderly, and orthopedics, supporting both inpatient and outpatient care.

Working in these clinical environments allowed me to see firsthand how powerful nutrition can be when it is applied in a practical and personalized way, helping individuals manage health conditions, improve energy levels, and support their overall well-being.

After completing my degree, I founded The Diet Clinic by Andre, to provide evidence - based, personalized nutrition support that helps individuals improve their health while building sustainable lifestyle habits.

As my clinical interests continued to develop, I became particularly passionate about the connection between nutrition, hormones, and metabolic health. This led me to further my education by completing an MSc in Endocrinology and Diabetes at Queen Mary University of London, allowing me to deepen my understanding of how nutrition interacts with the endocrine system, blood glucose regulation, and hormonal balance.

A significant part of my passion for women’s hormonal health also comes from personal experience. Several years ago, I was diagnosed with endometriosis and adenomyosis, conditions that affect millions of women worldwide and often require individuals to navigate complex symptoms and lifestyle adjustments.

Experiencing these challenges firsthand deepened my understanding of the important role that nutrition, inflammation management, and lifestyle factors can play in supporting overall wellbeing. This experience strengthened my interest in hormonal and metabolic health, inspiring me to further specialise in endocrinology and to support other women who may be navigating similar health journeys.

Through The Diet Clinic by Andre, my goal is to translate complex clinical science into practical nutrition strategies that people can realistically implement in their everyday lives.

I strongly believe that nutrition should never feel restrictive or overwhelming. Instead, it should be balanced, sustainable, and adapted to each individual’s lifestyle, health needs, and personal goals, helping people build a healthier relationship with food while supporting their long-term wellbeing.

Through my work as a clinical dietitian, my goal is to bridge the gap between clinical science and everyday nutrition. I am passionate about helping individuals feel more confident in how they nourish their bodies, using evidence-based strategies that support long-term health, metabolic balance, and overall wellbeing.

Whether through personalised consultations, educational resources, or evidence-based recipes, my aim is to make nutrition accessible, practical, and empowering, allowing people to build habits that support their health for years to come.
